Per Capita Income
Per Capita Income is often used as a comparative measure of wealth. It is the sum of all incomes of individuals over age 15 divided by the sum of the total population. Per Capita Income includes all wages, dividends, self-employment and interest income, transfer payments, and employer and government payments for health care and retirement. Capital gains are not included.
