Just as there are wide variations of home ownership rates in the cities and towns of Allen County, there also large differences within the townships, the census tracts, and within the census track (e.g. block group). There are 7 Census Tracts with a rate larger than 95 percent, and 3 Census Tracts where the home ownership rate is less than 20 percent. The following maps identify where some of these Census Tracts are. All data are as of the 2000 Census.

1. CT 116.02 borders the county line in western Allen County, and had a home ownership rate of 97.7 percent in 2000.

2. CT 103.04 and 103.03 border each other and are in northern Allen County, bordering Dupont Road on the south, and Union Chapel, Hathaway and Carroll Roads on the north. Each has a 97.5% home ownership rate.

3. In Eastern Allen County, CT 108.14 has a home ownership rate of 96.6%.

4. The Census Tract with the smallest percentage of home ownership is CT 41.02, with 10.4%. Many of the residences in this area are apartments, such as Canterbury Green and Woodbridge Apartments.

5. Census Tracts 12 and 13 are in Wayne Township. Other than CT 41.02, these Census Tracts have the lowest percentage of home ownership, with 13.9 percent and 17.3 percent, respectively . These census tracts are adjacent to each other.
